Jon Bracey was born in Lambourn in 1977, the year Macintyre and Sorensen did the first alpine style ascent of the Harlin Direct on the Eiger.
Brought up on a sheep farm John still isn't afraid of hard graft when it's needed.
In 2006 he became the youngest qualified British Mountain Guide. Jon's favourite playgound is the Grandes Jorasses; he loves all types of climbing, but at the end of the day "everything is just training for alpinism"...
