Chris Sharma is a phenomenon - without a doubt one of the world's very best climbers. A climbing prodigy, Chris's talents first came to light in 1995 when he won the US national bouldering championships aged just 14. Since then Chris has pushed the boundaries year on year, staying ahead of the pack. His recent film King Lines, a winner at Kendal 2008, documented his attempts and ultimate success on Es Puntas in Mallorca, a beautiful and staggeringly difficult line up the underside of a natural arch above the sea. The culmination of years of effort this was a pure line climbed with the minimum of fuss, pushing his abilities beyond what he thought possible.
