Rickie Cotter is a painter-decorator from Wales who also happens to be one of the finest endurance cyclists of her generation.
Rickie is a long distance cycling specialist, having been the national champion in 24-hour solo racing before stepping it up to go even longer. She has competed in the Transcontinental, the Highland 550, Geneva to Nice via every mountain she could find, the Ironbike stage race, the Andalucia stage race, TransWales the Tour Aotearoa in New Zealand, and the Tour Divide down the length of the USA with fellow Adventure syndicate member Lee Craigie. When she isn't racing across continents she can be found at home in Bath. After twice winning silver at the World 24-hour Solo Mountain Bike Championships, she went on to distinguish herself in some of the toughest ultra-distance races in the world, including the Transcontinental, the Highland Trail 550 and the Tour Aotearoa. Her most recent endeavour was an eventful attempt on the Tour Divide, alongside Lee Craigie.
