Judith is a veteran war correspondent and teaches conflict reporting at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in New York City.
Judith Matloff is a Harvard graduate who was a staff correspondent for Reuters and the Christian Science Monitor on various continents before breaking out as an independent magazine writer, her articles have appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, the Economist and the Financial Times. Judith now teaches conflict reporting at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. She has won several fellowships, including a Fulbright and MacArthur, and is the author of Fragments of a Forgotten War and Home Girl. She has been writing about international affairs for 30 years.
