Kendal Mountain Festival is an award winning 4 day festival held each year in November that inspires people through film, lectures, live events and brands to explore, enjoy and represent mountains, wilderness and their culture.

Due to expansion with the delivery of a year round live Festival tour and growing UK and international partnerships, a new role has opened up for a person who is able to support and deliver within the following areas:

  • Marketing & PR Support - managing social media and digital platforms including updating of the Festival’s website.
  • Account Support - supporting/developing the relationships of Kendal Mountain Festival’s associated sponsors & brands.
  • Event Delivery - supporting the Festival’s team in delivering the Kendal Mountain Festival and its associated events.

This is an exciting and evolving role within a dynamic and fluid working environment. We operate as a small team and therefore the job description as above is the basis of what is required but an ‘all hands on deck’ mentality is vital to successfully deliver the Festival and associated events.

The position will be based at our head office in Kendal and will be full time although we are open to discussions regarding flexible working patterns. The position will be supporting the Marketing Manager. Start date is ASAP within reason.

Salary is dependent on experience...
